Take a touch of bohemian, a dash of fairy and a slight shade of gloom, mix them together and you get Wendy Kathleen. This Pisces from Southern California has morphed her sunny O.C. existence into a world of wonder, enchantment and mystery.
Wendy juggles her time between painting, running her 6 retail websites and teaching high school art. Wendy shares her home with her husband and soul-mate Brian, her sons Kaleb and Konnor and two puppy dogs. Any free time that is left, Wendy can be found practicing yoga, ice skating, snowboarding and writing poetry.
Wendy’s paintings are done primarily in watercolor. Each website/collection of work has a specific purpose and objective that the artist is passionate about. Although different in subject matter, each painting portrays Wendy Kathleen’s unique style and zeal for her theme.
“Painting for me is a very spiritual experience. It is like breathing, for I require both for living. As a Christian, I believe my art is a gift and I want to share that gift with others to bring joy to their lives. I wish for my paintings to illustrate beauty, reflection, passion, contemplation and the feeling of the divine to people’s lives."
